WHO COULD HAVE A PLASTIC SURGERY?
If you are thinking on having a plastic or aesthetic surgery, you first have to ask your self a few questions. Why do I want to have this surgery? And what change do I expect the surgery to have on me?
There are two kinds of patients. The first kinds of patients are the ones that have a positive attitude towards themselves and are considerable to have a good self-esteem but are only worried with a minor physical characteristic that they want to change. After the surgery they will still have a stronger self-esteem. The second kinds of patient s are the ones that consider they have a physical defect. Which as been creating a low self-esteem, causing the patient a rejection from society. After the surgery the patient will slowly reconstruct his/her self-esteem.
It is important to know that the plastic surgery could produce many physical and emotional changes. The plastic surgery normally creates a positive change in a person, allowing that person to disinvolve more easily around people.
It is possible that friends and family members will like the results, and sometimes there will also be negative attitudes. But remember that the plastic surgery is based to please and satisfy the patient, and not anyone else.
Although there are exceptions, there are other alternatives before thinking on having surgery. This is considering when, a patient is obsessed with a minor defect, the patient is impossible to be satisfies, the patient has mental problem, or when the patient is passing through a crisis. (Mental/Emotional).
